Rue and Prim, Short story 1

Prim

I sat on my bed crying. I hate her, I hate her! Someone then knocked. "Don't come in!" I said sadly. Gale came in. I stood up, ready to get him out. "No! Prim, sit down!" I sat down on my bed. "Prim, look, it was all a big misunderstanding." "No, it wasn't, they clearly kissed!" "Yes but..." "Just go away!" "Prim, don't make this harder. Rue didn't kiss him, he did." "But they still kissed, right?" He nervously nodded. "Isn't that enough?" I asked. "Look, Rue was trying to tell him that a girl liked him. She meant you Prim, but he thought the girl was Rue so he kissed her!" "Because he likes Rue!" "But she doesn't!" he angrily shouted. "Yeah, but..." He slapped me, right on the cheek. "Say whatever you want but Rue was only trying to help!" He then stood up and walked out of the room. I sat there for a while. She was only trying to help? I see. I stood up and ran to school. When I arrived, I looked everywhere for Rue but she wasn't there!    Where is she? Half an hour passed, still no sign until she came out holding a bruised up Kyle. "What happened?" I asked. "I, it's a long story!" Rue said. "Kyle? Can Rue and me pls talk alone?" He nodded and walked away. "I'll see you later Kyle! Just wait for me at the gates!" Rue shouted. I frowned a bit. "I'm sorry Rue! I know you were only trying to help!" "No! I'm sorry! I should have just told you liked him!" We looked at each other then hugged. "Listen Rue, you can have Kyle. I've decided to move on..." "Hey Prim. Can I talk to you?" Jacob asked. "Sure. See you later Rue!" I walked along with Jacob. "Prim, there's something I've been wanting to tell you." "Oh, what's that?" "I, I, I love you!" he shouted and closed his eyes.
I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "See you tomorrow Jacob." He looked there surprised and shocked. "I'll see you tomorrow!" he happily shouted. I walked out of school and saw Rue and Kyle talking to each other. I smiled as they hugged.
