~ Keara and Kipper the two huskies ~ (Diary entries)

Saturday 30th March- Keara

Dear Diary,

I got a new owner today. I feel strange in my new home but I luckily have my brother Kipper with me. Today was a interesting day, but let me start from the beginning. At about mid-morning the doorbell rang and my breeder picked me up. She took me to the front yard and talked to some strangers. I played with Kipper and my sister and before I knew it, this person scooped me up. I didn't feel very comfortable but I let her carry me to the car. But then she put me in a box!! This boy put Kipper in the box, right next to me. I saw my sister for the last time and then the car zoomed away. Kipper and I cried a bit and we tried to scratch the seat, but fell asleep. About half an hour later, we arrived at a house. It wasn't the owner's house because two people were already staying there. Maybe part of their family? I fell asleep next to the car but played with my new owner for a bit. Later on Kipper came to me and slept too. After a while we were picked up again and put in the box. The car drove away again, for a bit of a longer ride. When our owner's tried to feed Kipper and I, I ate some of Kipper's food. I do hope he didn't mind. Now and then my new owner said: "Hello Keara, hello!" but I don't know what she meant. Silly human talk. Anyway, we fell asleep again and finally reached our destination later on. I was greeted by a friendly smile. I was taken outside and saw a little doggy house. My owner played with a tennis ball with me, but I couldn't concentrate. I was busy exploring my new territory. When I tried to go inside the house, my owner told me to go out and picked me up. Humph. I'm still going to explore that house. We had a great dinner- the old food our breeder fed us. Kipper and I are going to miss our mum and dad, but there is many adventures awaiting us, or that is what I want.
