So, when someone finds out I have aspergers, here's 2 reactions that come up:
"You don't look autistic" and "Prove it"

You don't owe it to anyone to prove anything. End of story. If they're trying to understand your autism, that's one thing. Asking someone to prove their autism is blatantly disrespectful.

Im sorry whoever said that, just tell them " Do you want to go through my paperwork for proof?" or " I don't need to prove it." You don't need to look like you have it to have it. trust me. I seen all kinds of special needs kids. I live with one. I'm technically part of the autism spectrum myself. They are all different. There are no stereotypes that are needed in this world sweetheart. They are BAD!
