What are your thoughts on Candy Candy?

Here's a small summary:Candy Candy is an old anime about a girl named Candy who was left at an orphanage near Lake Michigan where she spent her first five years with her best friend,Annie.
I loved this show.When I was little I used to think it was a cartoon from Mexico,because 1.It was in Spanish(I'm Hispanic)and 2.I was young and stupid.This anime was a emotional roller-costar for me,still is.If you haven't watched I think you should.Sure the art style is old but it's really good and sweet.
