Can you tell me why? I'm confused. Why is it when tou put "f" in front of "i", the dot goes away? fi Its only on lowercase

I think it's just a font error. Either the dot on the "i" is too close to the curve of the "f" and so come together or it's just a general bug. That or it's an aesthetic that the staff picked but I wouldn't think so.
I'd presume a typeface error!

Thanks for your question! The reason the dot disappears when you put “f” in front of “i” (making “fi”) is because many fonts use a special combined glyph for that pair to make text look smoother. That happens because some fonts use a ligature that merges “f” and “i” into one symbol. You can check how different fonts handle it using a conversor de letras — it’s a fun way to see which styles keep or remove the dot. visit this site for mor details: https://conversorsdeletra.com/
