Can I have some help with my friend?
Okay, so I have a friend who sits beside me and each day, I WANT TO PUNCH HER FACE! She gets really annoying. Here is a outline of our conversations:
Me: Hey! Were you nervous for the french test?
Her: I couldn't care less.
Me: Did you study?
Friend: No
Me: Why not?
Friend: I couldn't care less.
Me: Are you going to the bake sale?
Friend: I couldn't care less.
Me: WHAT DO YOU CARE ABOUT!?
Friend: I don't know.
Me: On a different subject, who's your favourite companion in Doctor Who?
Friend: I couldn't care less.
Me: I thought you liked Doctor Who.
Friend: I do.
Me: Well who are your favourite companions?
Friend: I couldn't care less.
Me, trying not to punch her.
Can I have some help?

My solution would be to be direct. Next time she says that, just say to her, "I'm sorry, but it's hard to have a nice conversation with you if you keep saying that. Can you please try to be more involved?" Or another similar thing. Another thing is to ask, "Why do you sit by me if you don't want to talk about anything?" Your goal should be polite but direct.

I have a friend who sticks around me all the time but contradicts to all of my ideas. So I basically avoid her. Boldly. Give her the idea that you don't want to be around her and she'll eventually become better/stay away.
