Well, science is the rules that govern our universe.
So, yeah. Besides, certain plants like kiwis need two plants of opposite genders to reproduce, aka make fruit.
But I'm open to trees who feel like a different gender then they really are, or trees that are both genders (most are).

Where did you learn that it was "scientifically proven"? I'm not really sure I buy into that. Maybe it's true, I'm not sure, but I doubt it.
