I think public school is the easiest way for young children to learn basic social skills. Sure they might be more focused on at home, but you would need to sign your child up for social groups for them to make friends. I became severely depressed during my time home-schooled because I was completely alone, no friends, just my parents who worked very often. You have to pay very close attention to your child's needs.

i go to public school and tbh the actual lessons suck. the only reason i prefer it to homeschooling is because i can see my friends

I'm homeschooled, and there's certain aspects about it that I like, but I'm also a social butterfly, so a public school would be nice in the friend context. (I've never actually BEEN to a public school, all I know is that they're super big compared to my old private school.)

I'd rather be homeschooled because a) you get to sort-of build your own curriculum you get to wear anything you want without being judged or anything (I think I'm not an expert) c) You don't need to worry about moving because your school moves with you.
