North Korea wanted to make all of Korea communist and south didn't want to be ruled like that so America helped it become democratic

@AwesomeGirl123 X-(No, they're not poop, they're really good! Just because you don't live there doesn't mean that you can call the countries and the citizens 'poop'.

After World War II, the Soviet Union made North Korea a Communist country and the United States helped South Korea make a democratic government (no they're totalitarian and republic). Then North Korea invaded South, starting the Korean War, in 1950 because it wanted to unite the Koreas under the Communist country. Now the war stopped but hasn't ended.
