The sun will explode millions of years from now
The earth has a chance of surviving the sun's explosion, but even if it does almost all life forms will probably burn. Unless, humanity has polluted the earth enough to where they had to like,,,, live on Mars or something.

But out of them options a large meterorite colliding with the earth is the most logical option.
