I've always been a green freak so transitioning to vegan wasn't hard for me. It's super easy if you have access to make your own meals. Just takes a little commitment.ヾ(*ゝω・*)ノ
well there's lots of amazing meat substitutes that are delicious. Also many more recipes than you think are meat free, or can have meat taken out of it. I never really liked the taste of meat anyway, and always preferred fruit and vegetables so it might have been more easy for me to switch than others, but it's never been a problem for me to find food. Some people give it up for health reasons, to be healthier, to be against animal cruelty, for religious reasons, because their family raised them to be, allergy reasons. There are many many reasons for a person to be a vegetarian :)
I don't like the thought of eating the animals, I live next to a field of sheep and one of them just gave birth to a lamb. They're so adorable♥ I'm more of a person that would prefer to eat something other than meat but we still need it. Food plate, you need a mix of everything :3
anyone, people eating meat is the reason humans are overpopulating the earth. The world would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better with out us overpopulating it, less wars, les starving. Plus, you meat eaters are 60% more likley to get cancer and twice as likley to get heart disease. Plus, do you look at a super inocent lamb and think TASTY? Poor lamb, the can't do anything! It is just sick how humans do this. They say animals are food, and I say, no. Animals are individuals with feelings and nerves. They are mammals, just like us, who can communicate with each other. They can feel pain, too. They have families, and some of them have babies. They have other animals that love them. They have lives, and just because they taste good, See More▼ you want to take those lives away from them. It's like you're being a cannibal - you might not eat people, but you eat other individuals with feelings. I once saw a quote that said, "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian." Now, I've never looked inside a slaughterhouse, but I do know that killing individuals for optional food is NOT okay.
Actually, meat eaters are twice as likely to get heart disease, %60 more likely to get cancer, and %30 more likely to die of other reasons (except old age XD) . As long as you eat a balanced diet, you're going to be super healthy! I've been vegetarian for two years, and only gotten sick once!
