Dear Dad,

As much as I hold grudges against you, I wish I met you. To be honest, I.....saw you as a bad man. My grandma keeps telling me all the bad things you did and how you never came to see me, I wish you could've left at least one single memory to me. All I have to remember you by is a rose music box. I have one question for you- Didn't you ever wonder how your daughter See More▼ was through all these years?

Dear "Papa",

I wish you were still alive. You gave me all sorts of fun when I was little. Why did you have to die when I was such a young age? :(( I miss you. You were basically my second dad, heck, I still call you Papa! Why did stupid cancer have to strike....Please come back!! :((

Why does all the people I love die when I was such a young age? You were one of the few grand-aunts I was comfortable with! It was so fun at your house! Cancer always has to spoil the fun, huh? When we had your funeral, everyone was crying. I was so little back then, I didn't have any clue as to what was going on. I wish you spent more time here. Grandma mentions you sometimes.

i lost an old friend a while back. just a few months ago. died of a heart issue.his name was Sky, he loved to sing and draw. just like me. we lived a ways apart so we never got to see each other in person but we would contact each other over the internet or phone. we would quiz each other on books we read and talked for hours on end. He kept me updated on his heart disease though he never would say what it was. guess he didnt want me to know. the day before he died he called me See More▼ saying that he was in the hospital. he wasnt sure he would make it out. i contacted him on skype the next day, hoping to see his face again. one of his siblings told me Sky had died, i told him thanks and said i was sorry. this was what lead me into a case of depression. i still have weeks where i curl up and feel like crying for eternity. i miss him very much and if i could ever see him again i would tell him how much i love and miss him. it feels odd saying this so openly but i felt like i should tell somebody.

Happy 70-something-eth birthday. You were an old, old friend. Everyone misses you, your sister, the church people that you used to go with. Why Mr. Vandiveer? Why did you leave us? I promised to walk your dog Benjie, and we played dominoes and had bible studies together...we had so many good times, but they were so short! :(( I only knew you for months, and you were old, but you had a spirit of the bravest soldier, the quietness and peacefulness of a See More▼ lamb, so why did you have to leave me!? I'll miss you, and only hope you know how much I missed you Mr. Vandiveer...:( I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise...you were supposed to let me walk your dog, good ol' Benjie, remember? You were an amazing guy. I know you went through a lot, but you were the most amazing and friendly person in the world. The Vietnam War was only the beginning for you... :( In your 80's you fell ill with lung cancer. But you pushed through. You gained your average weight back and your hair grew back thick and dark. My mom loved you, you know... As did I and Grandma Evelyn. You never deserved all the prosecution after the War... But you did deserve a quiet, See More▼ peaceful passing when your time came.
