Kakuru sighs as she looks upon the crater that was her home. She had to fend for herself now, and that's what mattered. Her parents are dead, so are her siblings. She wiped a tear from her eye and ran into the Apocalypse, wondering how she would survive.

Rain sighed softly as she looked back at her old town. It had been destroyed and everyone had evacuated. Now it was her turn to leave. She turned and slowly followed the soldiers as they helped her injured mother to the helicopter. The closest safeplace was over 100 miles from their home, and there was only enough room in the helicopter for one other person. Rain left, deciding to make her way by foot and to let them get her mother the help she needed.
