What have I done to poor, innocent Sonata?
Sonata sighed softly, and glanced at the bottle in his hand. He couldn't explain it. He just felt so...different. Not like the wise old knight he'd become, or like the innocent child he began as. But more like a stranger in his own skin. He felt like the evil inside was dictating his every action and reaction. He felt so angry at everything. But most of all he felt numb.
Sonata took another swig of whiskey.
Numb.
It was the See More perfect word. "Numb". It was exactly how he felt.
"Numb" he whispered aloud, glancing at the flickering candle which dimly lit the room.
