Combining axe and sword, the Switch Axe provides two ways of killing stuff; the standard Axe Mode, which, with its wild swinging attacks, is very easy to hit monsters with, and the devastating Sword Mode, which uses a phial that comes with the weapon to amplify its power in many different ways! Not to mention, it's one of the few weapons that comes with a sidestep, allowing for quick dodges to charge right back into the fray!
