I WANT TO BREAK FREE- this song was written by john deacon, the bassist of queen. although originally intended to be a male's point of view on the women's liberation movement (hence the music video), it can also be taken more personally as someone wanting to break free from their lover. either way, it is about someone desperately wanting to break free from their situation. it has more of a pop beat than typical queen songs, but it is a fantastic song nonetheless.
CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE- written by freddie mercury, this song is about not quite knowing what to do about love. he isn't ready for it. he's trying to get into the swing of things. it is an upbeat song that i can't help but sing along to.
OVERALL- maybe you're confused about a situation or about love. maybe you're trying to do something about it- maybe not. but you know you'll be okay. you will be okay.
