You see that boy on his iPod? He's video chatting with his dad while he's at the hospital.
You see that 12 year old staring at her phone? She is reading The Grapes of Wrath because she loves literature.
See that girl taking a selfie? She finally found someone who made her feel beautiful and she wants to show the world.

Don't just assume that we are doing nothing because it looks like it to you. Don't just assume we don't have emotion because we have technology. I'm sick of having to prove that I am being productive. I'm sick of being judged because I have social media and technology. Technology is an important part or our lives now. Please stop the prejudice
