"The weight of the world"
I noticed at about four, maybe five,
That people wanted to die.
That they couldn't take it,
I didn't know why,
So i decided to carry the weight of the world. See More
As i grew older,
It became closer and closer,
How we were surrounded by the hatred
And, religon and the Lord-
They conflicted in society.
So, in order to ease the pain,
I tried to carry the weight of the world.
Skin colour,
Your face,
Hatred and pain,
Are part in the weight of the world.
News articles and war,
The news says it all-
Why is nobody stopping this?
Another questioning part
In the weight of the world.
People stressing,
Weather it be how hateful our school system is,
Or how people wish to go to this,
It's all a part of the weight of the world.
I pushed my problems aside,
Opened my eyes,
And, I hoped,
I would be able to carry the weight of the world.
And, even though I'm small,
Even though people's words,
They rest on my back,
This is all just another part
