Okay, so death could be a subconscious contemplation of mortality or could symbolize new beginnings.
In the new beginning section, if the death is rough or drawn out, it could mean the beginning is taking a while to take place due to inability to let go of something else.
If a person dies, it could say they are no longer a part of your life or you lack a quality they possess. If you die in the dream, you may be looking for a new beginning or are going through a spiritual transformation. Sometimes death in a dream is plainly a representation of death itself.
