And then I think, it was probably for a joke with friends. And then I wonder...Was it worth it? Why couldn't I just copy the image link and send it rather than download it?

Better yet, perhaps no jokes at all. Either way, 'tis the past. Please note I have nothing against Animal Crossing and am 99.999% sure that I wasn't making fun of said character or franchise when making whatever joke it was.
