Time Goes on...

Upon on the top of a tall building as People go about their days, many years have past since the fall out of humanity but still Humanity rebuilt their selves from the ashes of a past mistake. Mistakes of the past haven't effected the new japan who speak english without a fault, most other languages were forgotten as English is the first language most humans know now. Climbing down from the building edge the figure lands in an ally way, a shimmer of gold flashes over them as a human walks out of the shadows, donning the disguise of Venus Rath a 18 year old who works at a corner store, Verrath goes about still wearing the gifted hoodie washed and looking cleaner, looking at the time noticing they can still go and visit their old friend before their shift starts.

"Hey Cat and Mitchell, how are both of you doing? i see my rune has given you the appearance of stone Cat. But it was the passing of time the sun fading out your already faded appearance, well it's nice to have someone listen to my thoughts. Did you guys know that they couldn't remove your graves that instead they built a playground around it? Kids come to it everyday, just to see the lady of stone and the Grave she protects right? I've still got your Hoodie Mitchell, cleaner and wearing it right now." They dust of some moss that was growing on Cat and Mitchell, "at least I promised that i'd visit when i could. It was fun watching the rise of humanity again, now i go my Venus Rath, no one questions it. I need to clean you both more often, after my shift i'll come here and clean you guys. It has been fun talking, i'll see you both later." Standing up they walk off towards work, as kids slowly come to the playground of the Stone Lady.

Humming they enter the corner shop, "ah Venus, your early again! Could you be a dear and help me?" Ms Beach, an old lady who is still moving around even at her age. "Yeah, i was at the Stone Lady again, i feel like a connection with her. What do you need help with?" Venus replies as the walk over to Ms Beach, noticing she is trying to put boxes of jam jars onto the top shelf, "I can't seem to get these on the top shelf. Could you do it for me?" She asks while stepping down of the step ladder that doesn't reach the shelf even with her height. "Sure, i'll be done in a bit." As Venus moves to resumes what Ms Beach was doing, "such a nice young lady" Ms beach comments as she walks off to the back room to have a nap.

"Ms Beach! My shift done! I'm locking up!" Venus sets the alarms and locks the door, walking back to them, Verrath brings the cleaning supply's they brought before leaving the store, as they enter the playground, they see a group of school kids drawing graffiti on Cat, laughing as the do it. Enrage Verrath storms over, "Excuse me but can you kindly get lost before i get even more made then i already am." Verrath says with a growl at the end, "Your not our mother! we can do what we want to this stupid statue!" The leader of the group says. Returning to their human form, "Cat i can't believe some kids are like that." They clean up the mess left behind and all the moss after an hour, they look as clean as they were when Verrath first dropped Cat off at the grave.
