Moonlight

All I could remember was sitting in my room, at my desk. I was reading my favourite book for the sixth time. it was 4:00am but I didn't care. I never sleep. Except during the day. I had the whole night planned out. At 5:00am I would start watching my favourite anime.

The storm was really annoying. It made it harder to focus on my book. But what really made it hard to read was the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs to my room. It wasn't one of my parents because they were sleeping down the hall. My doorknob was turning. I panicked and hid under my bed. Where else would I hide? I looked out from under my bed and I saw his face. His skin was purple and he was bald. His red eyes looked around my room. His black cloak covered his whole body and in his hand was some sort of staff.

He turned around to look under my desk and I ran out my door, down the hall, and down the stairs. Downstairs was totally trashed-couches turned upside down, our tv was smashed, and our books were scattered all over the ground. I collected a few of my favourite books and sprinted out the door. I followed the moon to my favourite park and sat on a bench to read in the moonlight. I was just getting to my favourite part when I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head. I don't remember anything after that.
