Chapter 12
Today was Mayla's birthday and no one cared. All of her friends died, her students wasn't there, it was terrble. She sighed walking to the cafe and worked quietly . She ordered and sighed knowing no one would care about her birthday. She saw her boss who came down and gave her a wrapped gift . " Here my favorite employee , it's a birthday gift. I hope you like it " he smiled and she looked confused as can be. She didn't know why anyone would want to give her a gift. She took it out and it was a picture of what her brother would look like .She smiled a bit and worked before her boss told her to take the rest of the day off. She ran and went a park and sang quietly the same song as she did when she was little. She was happy someone remembered her day. A day at the end of February which everyone forgets . She was happy that someone treated her with some kindness.
She walked down the street at night and heard footsteps and saw Roy. She ran fast not wanting to deal with him but he grabbed her arm and kissed her she slapped him " why are you doing this! Haven't you learned enough!?!" She barked and Roy smiled " well I'm a oftegan hope your happy. I still you feelings for you. " he whispered " well I don't feel the same " she growled and walked away" your still the sslut I remember " " I don't care I'm actually happy for once in my life. Just leave me be idiot" she walked away and never return to see Roy....
She sighed and looked out the window at the snow. She didn't know what the future held for her but she swore to make it happy even with abusive parents and past, she wanted away but her parents wouldn't let her go. She would have to wait. One day they would die and she could be free....one day that is....
