Chapter 3.

Fire

I ran downstairs to check it out, but I saw one clear, red, orange, yellow thing in front of my eyes..... Jeff on fire. He was pale. He was wasn't screaming... H-h-e was impossible...
I ran, than everything turned pitch black. Just pitch black. I opened up my eyes, and a female nurse looked at me. She was not nice looking. She rolled her eyes. "Finally awake, eh? Ugh, let's just get this over with." She said.
I blinked twice. "Huh? Is the guy with brown hair, okay?" I asked.
"I am not going to let you see him just because he is your boyfriend. I don't care if he's your boyfriend or not." She replied.
"Fine..." I gave up. "And h-h-e I-s n-n-n-ot my b-b-b-oyfriend...." I corrected her.
"Whatever. Want to see your parents?" She asked, with a sigh. Maybe she had a rough day. I don't know! I nodded, quickly. Anything to get HER away from me.
"Hello, sweetheart" My mom said, with a smile. She sat on my bedding and rubbed my leg, softly.
"Yeah, is Jeff?" I asked.
Mom looked at Jeff's mom. She felt like she could not answer. "Oh Jeff is alright. He will live. I see your name is so beautiful, Jane Arkensaw. My name is Mirada." She introduced herself.
"My name is Isabella Arkensaw and this is George Arkensaw. My husband." Ect. Ect. Ect. They talked.
"So sweet of you to ask, Jane. Would you like to come over for dinner?" Mirada asked.
I nodded quickly. "Not like! Love to!" I giggled.
