Chapter 2.

Chapter One: Self Confidence

The word confidence can mean a lot of different things... To those who do not have it it means the ability to speak your mind or take what you want without letting the judgment of others, or your own, stop you. To those who were born with it it is a word used to describe the aspect of your personality that is too loud to be silenced. To those who have acquired it over time the word is meaningless. It is a word used to classify how we perceive ourselves. If you are classified as a person without confidence then your self doubts erupt on the surface. You are afraid for others to so you hide in silence and self pity. If you are classified as a person with confidence then your self doubts build up pressure inside of you. You continue your life dreading the day that that pressure reaches capacity and boils over. If you have acquired confidence the word is meaningless because you have lived under both classification. To live under both you know that self doubt lives in all of us whether we be under the strains of keeping up a confident facade or hiding our weaknesses in the shadows afraid to feel subordinate to others self doubt is truly in all of use.
True confidence is the ability to except that fact. True confidence is when you know your weaknesses and love them. True confidence is when you no longer feel the need to hide who you truly are because of your self love. If there was one real secret to life, loving yourself despite your flaws would be the key to unlocking happiness.
I know that saying it is much easier then actually doing it, but loving your flaws can be achieved as long as you let it. The first step in not letting your self doubts consume you is to realize that  you are not alone. You are not a special case and you are not abnormal. Everyone goes through a period in there lives when their self doubts are all that they can see. One person may handle it differently then another, but we all do it. The way that you handle it determines what state you are in when you come out of this period in you life.
Everyone is the same... and yet no one is. I am sure you've heard the saying before that people are like snowflakes. No single snowflake is ever the same as another. Snowflakes are all frozen molecules of water. In this aspect they are exactly the same, but what makes them special is the formations they are in, that's what makes them beautiful and unique. Every person on Earth was born from a mother, they are made up of organic matter and they came into the world the exact same way. They are all exactly the same until you take into account what has formed them into what they are today. We all go through different circumstances that form us into our own unique shape. We have all been forged into existence by forces out of our control, but what we can control is how we let the hits and blows we have endured effect us. If we crumble under them then we are giving up before we have even reached our end product. If we absorb those blows then we will be shaped into something beautiful. Do not be ashamed of the things forming into your own unique snowflake. To be ashamed of that is the same as being ashamed of your strength and resilience that you showed when you chose not to crumble under those hits and blows.
We all have the will to be happy with in us and true confidence is the day when you decide to let that will show.
