Some people put a bell on their cats color so if they run outside then they can hear the bell and find them. Putting a bell on your cats color is a good idea so if they get lost then you can find them easier.
It is a bad idea to let them go outside if you live in a place with a lot of traffic because they can easily get hit by a car. Also if you live in a forest then you should not let them out because they can get killed by animals. In the winter if they are going outside in winter then you need to make sure they wont freeze and they have a nice coat of fur to keep them warm.
