Choose Your Fate!

Your name is Victoria and your friend's name is David. You and David have been best friends since your parents died and the only place you can go to was to an uncle's house. Ever since that, people bully you because you're an orphan. But David was different. The moment you mentioned your name, he started to go wherever with you. You liked how he was always so cute, smart, funny, and nice. Bullies would torment you, but David would always be on your side. But the thing that bugs you about David was, why whenever you try to talk about his past, he would either reply nothing or "no comment"?
Your days are happy with David there. He's always charming that way. You met his mom on the first week you and David met but her face was white, and since that day, she never spoke to you. She only nods her head or points her finger. Even with all the bullies there to torment you, David always make you happy.
Anyways, one day, your uncle went missing. You start to worry but David patting your back kind of makes you feel better. While you were about to stand up, a crowd of people come near you. "No family? Man, that's sucks. Glad I'm not in your shoes," they say. Some are saying," Maybe you should go to an orphanage. It's where you belong anyway." You start to tear up when David blocks up the crowd. You can't exactly hear what he's saying because you're busy crying, but you know he's making them stop. While the crowd clears, one of the bullies yells out a dare.
You and David walked to your house together. You two are discussing whether we should do the dare together or not. David highly objects it but... after some persuasive words, he agrees. You both decide we are going tomorrow, using up today to search for your uncle. You searched the lake, the woods, the abandoned-rotten-ugly-old fashioned mansion in the middle woods, especially the cabin but no sign of him(I know. There is no way that girl can be not scared after going through all those places, and I forgot to mention she went there ALONE.) Anyways you had a rough day with no sign of your uncle and it's time to get some rest.
You and David decided to go into this haunted building. You know it's pretty dumb of you two to do this kind of thing, but you were dared by a bully and the thing you always like was to prove them you're special. You both went into the building at 6:00 p.m. When you saw blood on the walls and the wood-rotten tables, you and Ben decided to get out but the door was already locked. You and David promised each other that we will not be separated from each other no matter what. After all, bad things happen when people go their separate ways. So, you and David open the doors on the right side of the wall. It reeks of blood but you open the right door of that room and find everything is clean. You see papers on the floor. You and David clean up the papers and find a rusty key that opens a door. You seeing more doors in the hallway. 4 doors on the left, 4 doors on the right. Which side is it?
