Life in Beach City
Beach City: Two hours after the attack.Greg ran outside his van. The town was silent, and he wondered why. He ran over to the Temple, only hearing the slight sounds of waves crashing against the shore. "Steven!" he cried.
Sadie and Lars still sat indoors, watching random videos on their television set in the back room. "Do you think it's over?" Lars asked.
"Steven said he'd tell us when it was safe." Sadie replied.
"Well, what if he doesn't come back?" Lars asked again.
"Well,... Well, I don't know." Sadie said, clearly frustrated.
Mayor Dewey's van drove down the boardwalk, asking people why they weren't outside. Then, everyone knew it was safe.
"Steven!" Greg quickly ran up the steps to the Temple. All was quiet in there. He waited by the Warp Pad for a while, but no one showed up. So he kept waiting.
