        Song Writing Tips: Tips for Beginning Song Writers

1. If you want to write a song, may I suggest writing it about a topic you feel true to.
2. If you don't feel comfortable writing something, don't write it.
3. It doesn't matter what people think of it, if the topic is popular, but you don't feel comfortable, DON'T WRITE IT
4. Write your song to a catchy tune that goes with the lyrics
5. If the melody and the lyrics don't match up, you're gonna have to change something
6. If someone gives you a good suggestion, you should use it.
7. Always write to the best of your ability, that makes the song better
