I Finally Know Who I Am

Names, numbers, and genetics, in my opinion only can go so far to say who you are.

Identity At Last

I've figured it out. This is what I finally wanted to figure out, my life some up in a few words:

I am the shadow, born from the light,
I am the misplaced object in my parents' home,
I am the void, empty and unnoticed, so no one understands,
I am the warrior, with nothing but pain to nurture and feed upon,
I am the one with a heart shattered into 1 million pieces,
I am the one who had to slowly and painfully put it all back together,
I am the dreamer, wander, lover, and friend,
I am the one who's fighting for my suffering to just finally end.

That's it. The answer I've been searching for. Now, I can finally be at peace, no strings attached.
Leave the life I know with no regrets, and step into tomorrow wondering, and wondering, what it might be like.
I want to know though, who do you think you are? What makes you unique in your own words? Right a poem,
write a comment, because I want to know too. Who are we exactly? Our names? There's more people with that.
Numbers? Now that's just inhuman. What essence does your soul really hold? I'm probably just over thinking it ._.
But that's how I'm going to break through life's worst problems......with this emoji as a witness :P
