Guardian's Flame.
Chapter 3.

Library Druggie

4:00
Hina left school, and walked to the abandoned library down the road. It was torn up, crumbling, and  had no electricity, but the books were still good , and the sunlight light the whole building up during the day.  Outside of the library was a skinny, pale young man with long, shaggy, dull, light brown hair. "Are you okay"? Hina asked  the sickly pale young man. "Y-yeah..."He nervously said. "Um I see your wristband. P-please can  I join your group". Hina heavy-heartedly replied. "Yes, and don't worry I don't ask for anything in return. Just please meet me at the abandoned boarding house at 7:00 P.M , so you can meet them other two members".
"Okay"....The strange young man nervously replied.  Hina gave him a warm look, and asked "What's your name, family line, and element". "Oh,  um... I'm Zane part  of the yamiwell family line, and my element is darkness".
"See you at 7".  Hina said while slowly walking into the old library. "It's sad what they did to this place"... Thought Hina while strolling through the endless shelves of books. She made it to a section of the building la led with a tattered, blood stained  sign reading "History". Hina picked up a  book titled "Group Domination".
In your world some groups would be considered gangs, while others would be labeled as cults, though many are a mixture of the two. The book "Group Domination" was about terrorist, and dictator-like groups.  "Interesting" mumbled Hina  before putting the book back, and leaving.
"Who was that Zane guy? He seemed so terrified, and sickly. He was probably  caught up in the drug world, screwed up, and needed protection. I 'm concerned about him. I'm obligated to help him". Thoughts like that plagued Hina's mind  the rest of the afternoon.
Hina returned to her one-bedroom apartment. Her parents were killed in a group(gang) war, so she lives alone. She prefers it that way, though.
"6:30. I'd better get to the new HQ to be ready".
