I can't think. I can't speak. I can't do much right now. I'm still in shock.
When Jackie said she'd rather stay with me in Mobius than with her mother was what shocked me. And it still is. I expected her to just want to stay where she belongs.
Something must have happened that made her change her mind.
But it doesn't matter. She's chosen to stay. Which is what I wanted.
I know I now sound greedy for wishing that, but you tend to become greedy when you develop a crush. There, I said it. Happy now?
She looks at me like she's wanting something. "I can bet you wanted me to stay."
"What makes you say that?" I ask her.
"Oh I don't know," she replies. "Maybe it's because you kissed me a lot."
"Careful, or I'll kiss you again."
"Or maybe first we go and sort this out." That's when I realise she's still human.
Of course. You simply can't turn back to Mobian just by going through a portal.
"I'm sure Tails can help with that."

I watch as she knocks on the door to Tails's lab. And no surprise, he answers, "Jackie?"
"Hi."
"I thought you were back on Earth."
"Yeah... about that," I interrupt.
"I chose to stay here," she quickly says.
"That's great!" I bet he's just saying that for my sake. Like he knew I wanted her to stay.
"Yeah, but look at me." She eyes at Tails and gestures to herself. "I'm still human. Can you fix that?"
"That I can," Tails replies. "Come right in."
I want to follow her inside, but I know Tails will want me to wait outside.
God, I hate waiting.
"It'll only be 2 or 3 hours, Sonic," Tails informs me. "You can take a run if you want."

3 runs later and he's still not done.
It's been 2 and a half hours, and I'm still waiting.
I'm about to take off on another run, when the door opens. And out walks a pink hedgehog with dark purple hair, and royal blue eyes.
Jackie.
"So, you're back," I joke.
She giggles. She obviously gets it. "Yep. I am."
I can't help but hug her. I am so happy she's chosen me.
It's not long before she then adds, "And I'm staying."
