Eternal Darkness

I felt alone after the light surrounding me turned into complete darkness... I constantly kept telling myself, as long as those around me smile, I am willing to accept my sad and lonely fate... every now and then I can see small patches of light but as I try to reach out to them, they fad away just as quickly as they appeared.
