A couple months later Germany had arranged a world meeting so all the countries were now gathered in a conference room in Berlin. Everything was as it usually was, America was yelling about being the hero to solve problems, France and England were at each other's throats (literally), Italy was chattering away to a very uncomfortable Japan, and Germany was trying to calm them and all the other bickering countries down. Skylar was sitting at the end of the table right next to the door with an expression like Russia's, in other words like she was about to snap and kill a man. Alex was on the other end of the table depressingly staring out the window.
America was about to jump up on the table to tackle England when he saw Skylar's face. "Dude are you okay, the hero can help with whatever is bothering you!", Alfred said puffing out his chest in a Superman pose. Skylar scoffed and angrily told him about all the arguments Alex and her had been having lately. "Dude don't you guys always argue though?", Alfred asked confused. "Ja well this time if I don't get an apology and North doesn't get her shit together something bad might happen.", Skylar replied glaring in Alex's direction.
Alex didn't notice because she was still staring out the window deep in thought, she snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a kind hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see Canada looking concerningly at her. "North is something wrong...You seem...Off today?", Matthew said in a quiet sympathetic voice. Alex just sighed and said Skylar had been arguing with her a lot lately and how serious this was getting. Matthew looked down at the floor clutching Kuma to his chest,"Do you think you guys might...Start a w-war?", He asked. "I don't know,"Alex said shrugging,"If things continue like this bad things will surely happen."
