Whole Anime Explanation
In the beginning of the 21st century, a world war breaks out over interplanetary travel tech. The environment is pretty much destroyed so mankind leaves Earth and starts Star Calender 00. Entertainment and songs become heavily regulated and eventually banned due to their power to move people, but a brave idol group puts on guerrilla performances in the name of a famous act from earlier times that sang to Earth's bitter end, AKB48. The illegal revival group's name is... AKB0048.+++
Okay, first of all, DAAAAAYUM!
That is some explanation! And the fact that this band is true to the original AKB48, that is astounding! I'm expecting to see some traditions from the band in this anime. And when I do find them, they better not let me down!

We're AT the beginning of the 21st century... is this ISIS thing and the terrorists that suggested war?
And the thing about mankind moving to space...
We'll it's becoming possible for some people to go on a mission to Mars...

Might be, I don't know.
Overall, this general intro was well thought out, but I can't help but feel it could've been done better. The whole music being banned thing was done with Witch and Wizard too, except everything was banned in that. F*ck you, New Order!
