Chapter 2.
Struggle for life

Struggle for life

As the hideous green creature attempted to finish off the knight, the knight was doing everything to fight this thing off.
"How many more must die" thought the while knight avoiding a wide swing from his foe. "Will I be one of the ones to fall?"
The Goblin hissed as it continued to press its attack, but it was wearing itself out with the wide erratic swings it was dealing.
It would only be a little longer until the knight would be able to make his move against this creature of evil, the goblin had the advantage of energy but he was wearing his self out, the knight had the advantage of experience and was mapping out his next move.
The goblin stopped swinging and stood there gasping trying to catch its breath as  the dance of death came to an pause.
The knight made his move, he knew it was now or never.
He started of with an roundhouse uppercut followed by a series of combination attacks of strikes from the right and then left several times before he attempted an overhead cleave.
The goblin was caught off-guard from the knights attacks as he was now fighting to keep his life, the goblins defensive moves were weak to say the least, getting a gash from the roundhouse as he tried to avoid it, the goblin also got a several more nasty cuts as he clumsily tried to match the knights skill.
The goblin missed the next blow as the knight struck its legs crippling it and knocking it to the ground where it lay in the mud.

Taking a step forward the knight pulled his sword above his head aiming the blade at the goblins chest, the goblin scrambled in the wet earth as it tried to get away form imminent death from the victor.
