Corbijn carried Nolly around, "how about I bring you home until I find your owners?"Nolly spoke up, "N-Nolly isn't owned...!" He began to wiggle around, until Corbijn suggested "do you mean you belong in the woods?" "No," Nolly said, "that's where the scary things can bite Nolly!" Corbijn sighed, "well, where DO you belong, Nolly?" Nolly shook his head, "Nolly doesn't know... where have you seen other Nollies?"
"Wait..." Corbijn looked at Nolly, "you mean that your species are called Nollies and not you as an individual?" "Nolly thinks so," the yellow creature said, "but... Nolly is okay with being called Nolly."
Corbijn got onto a bus, holding Nolly in one arm and fishing out coins in the other. The driver stared at Nolly. Nolly stared back. The eye contact seemed to last for minutes, only being interrupted by Corbijn saying "thank you" and walking to a seat. Nolly looked at Corbijn, "has anyone seen... a Nolly?" "No, not to my knowledge," Corbijn replied, sitting in a chair that was in the middle of the bus. The yellow creature sighed, "will Nolly ever go home...?"
Corbijn opened the door after unlocking it. As he set Nolly down, a mew from a kitten can be heard. "Zhou Tai," Corbijn called out in a friendly voice. Nolly looked down to find that a small cat was sitting next to Corbijn's legs. "Mew?" Zhou Tai, the cat, asked. She had never seen a Nolly before and wondered what it was.
Corbijn set Nolly down for Zhou Tai to investigate, "see? It's a new friend." Nolly kept his eyes on Zhou Tai as she sniffed him to identify his scent. Nolly spoke, "Hi!" Zhou Tai pulled her head back with a slightly surprised purr sound. She began to reach her paw slowly towards this yellow creature that seemed so unfamiliar. The moment she bopped it, it made a sound; "oof."
