Chapter 2.

Where's dad?

I slept fin that night but when I woke up my father wasn't home not at all. He is always home before I have to leave to go to Raphael's house, or the Bluebloods house. It was odd. I looked into the living room and gasped. Tyron was there with Raphael. "Good morning." Tyrone smiled," How are you? Long time no see. Right?"

"Where is dad!?" I was mad and scared, dad never leaves Tyrone here with me without telling me. Tyrone looked at Raphael and looked back at me.

"He's... Not here at the moment." It was Raphael who said it." I'm sorry but he won't be coming back." Tears were in my eyes now, I turned out of the room and out the door. I'm glad I know the way to Max's house without a ride to get me there.
                                         ...................................................

When I got there Max was holding a dark blue dragon, and I hadn't noticed that I was holding the metallic rose my dad had given me the night before. Dang I was crying when Max opened the door." You ok?" Max let me in. We stayed in the hall to the entryway. It was bright purple with pink flowers.

"No I'm not. My dad... He's... He's... He's gone." I cried not knowing why. Raphael hadn't said he was dead and yet I knew, I knew he was.

"Did they say he was dead?" Max looked concerned, his eyes where a stormy gray. "Who told you?" I found myself explaining everything that happened this morning of which wasn't much. He looked P.O.ed, eyes a extremely intense stormy gray. "So Raphael told you this, and Tyrone didn't argue?"

"Yes." He had his arms around me which felt comforting and awkward at the same time, like butterflies in my stomach. He nodded and looked at the flower in my hand.

"From Tyrone?" He asked.

"No. Dad gave it to me last night before... Before..." I cried again without finishing the statement.

Max hugged me tightly. Out of every person who has given me a hug he has to be the one who does it the hardest." It's ok. It's going to be ok." He said gently but I knew he was a little angry still. He brushed my hair out of my face and slid his fingers through it, grabbed the back of my head gently and pulled my head towards his and he kissed me, gently at first like sweet breeze, then hard, hard like a tornado ripping through the clouds. I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.

Then Kaly came in to get something out of the entryway and she gasped, Max had me against the wall and was full on kissing me." What are you doing!?" She said with horror in her voice.

Max turned toward his twin and said simply,"What does it look like? Are you really that stupid?" She gasped again and turned and walked away.
                                            .......................................................

An hour latter and Tyrone finally finds me and Max at the park in long prairie next to the St. Mary of mount Carmel school. It was nice to walk around a town away from your own. Same times you just need a change of scenery.

"You were here, Really?" Tyrone looked like he was worried. "This the most unlikely of places you'd ever go."

"That was the point." Raphael came up behind Tyrone.

"Did you... Never mind." He stopped as soon as he saw Max pushing me higher than the pole on top of the swings. "You should come down." Raphael sounded serious about it,"I need to explain something to you." He too was holding a metallic dragon, a baby blue metallic dragon.

"Ok. Coming down!" I jumped.

"Pyra!" Tyrone screamed with full terror in his voice and I landed on my feet.

"See? I can do things without you having to worry." I smiled and Tyrone just looked as pale as a ghost." You look like a ghost."  Is said and laughed.

Max laughed too so did Raphael. We all laughed except Tyrone. Tyrone looked mad and unpleased. "Oh, come on Tyrone, it's not that bad." Raphael said.

Max stopped laughing after Raphael said it." I think it could be. It is possible." Raphael stopped laughing and glared at Max.

"I hate when you have to be so literal!" Raphael snapped at him.

"Stop, just stop. I may not like Max much but that does not give you the right to do that, Raphael. You know better." Tyrone scolded Raphael.
