EJ Gets Really Worried
EJ around the couch. "Rose... Black Rose, don't you ever do that again!" He hugged her tightly. She gasped. "I'm... Sorry." EJ pulled his mask off, and kissed her. "Shh. Don't talk, love." Rose blushed. EJ let go. "You scared me. I thought you were dead." Rose had started to get her breath back, but she was panting. "Agh... Ow!" EJ held her hand. "What?" She gasped. Masky came back over. "EJ, she can't talk. She won't be able to for a while. Her voicebox was crushed." EJ looked at him. "How long?" Masky shrugged. "About a day. I can't tell yet." Rose tried to sit up. Masky pushed her chest down. "No. Sit down, and rest." She shook her head. Masky held her forehead. "Shut up, and rest." Rose looked at him."Yeah, I did. Rest." He left. "Dang. Serious much?" EJ said. Rose almost giggled, but it hurt to much. EJ got up. "Stay. Don't do anything stupid." He left. He let his hand go, and Rose looked at him. "Don't give me that look." She smiled, and he fixed his mask. "Good." He walked out. Sally came over. "Rose?" Rose was still laying, but she hugged Sally. "Play with me?" Rose shook her head. She put her hand on Sally's cheek. Sally leaned over her. "Rose?" Rose smiled, tears in her eyes. She hated to she Sally like this.
EJ looked at him. He explained everything that happened. Rose tried to sit up, and Sally helped her. "Here." Splendy gasped. "Maybe..." He walked out. When he came back, he had a jar of honey. "What?" EJ almostgot defensive. Rose touched his hand. "Here." Splendy held out a spoon of honey. Rose took it, and put it in her mouth. It felt good on her throat. She was able to talk a little bit more. "Can I... Have more?" She struggled. Splendy smiled.
"The jar isn't big... It's only the size of your hand... Have the rest!"
