BR: Slender's story (#8)

The Song

Slenderman found Toby and EJ. "Find her!" He yelled. Rose started humming a tune she learned.
"When the river grows, and the worlds underwater, I'll stay.
When the desert dies, I'll stay. Just trust me."
Slendy shook his head. "No!" He fell. She kept singing.
"When the Deseret dries all, and thirst takes over, I'll stay.
When all is gone and dead, I'll stay."
Slender came closer, she saw the rememberance in his eye. "Rose..." Slendy fell to the floor. "Go..." Rose saw the house again, and went to Slendy. "I'm fine." EJ pulled her back. "Rose, look." She looked at Slendy's back on his jacket, he had a proxy symbol. "He's not supposed to have that... Is he?" Toby shook his head. "I'll get Broken." He ran inside. Slendy looked up. "Rose... I'm so sorry." She looked at him. "Wha-?" Slendy grabbed her neck, and whispered in her ear, "I'm back." She started to sing again, but the grip got tighter. "My story is different, but it's still better than yours." She clawed at Slendy's tentacle. She choked, and tried to escape. Then she remembered her knives, and tried to grab them. They weren't there. "Looking for these?"
Slender held them up. Rose couldn't die, but she could act. She choked one last time, and went limp. She kicked her foot twice so EJ would know. Toby screamed, "Rose! Hang on!" Rose felt Broken hit her foot. An echo went through her leg. She heard a voice in her head. "If your still alive, and acting, kick once." Rose couldn't feel anything, but with her last breath, she kicked. Her whole body jerked forward. Everything went black, but she was still feeling, and hearing everything. She hit the ground hard.
Her back cracked. "Agh... Ng... EJ..." EJ picked her up. She tried to grab his neck, but she was to weak. "No. We need to get you inside." She opened her eyes, and painfully smiled. EJ got inside the house, and called Masky over. "Masky! It's Rose. She's hurt real bad... Slendy choked her." Masky checked her pulse. "Open your mouth Rose." She did, but it hurt a ton. "Now don't move. It'll hurt, and you might black out." Rose nodded, and shut her mouth.
