I laugh when I see the homework for English. One page? Easy!!!"Autumn!" A guy behind me calls.
"Yes??" I sneer. This guy has been crushing on my since middle school.
"Will you go-"
"NO!" I nearly roar.
Marissa shifts slightly in her chair. "He wanted to give you this..." she says handing me a card.
The guy, Ryder, looks hopeful. Sighing, I open the card.
Once I see that its an invite to his party, I laugh.
"I thought you were going to ask me out!"
"No.." he smiles. God that smile.
Wait what??? I don't like him!
"Are you coming?" He whispers.
I pause, then nod. Parties, even when hosted by a dork, fun.
"It's at 8 tonight."
I nod. I know.
"Are you coming?" He asks.
I raise my eyebrows. "Duh! You're my friend."
Ryder smiles and turns back to the whiteboard.
Rolling my eyes, I turn back.
Five minutes later, class ends and Marissa waves goodbye as she heads to art.
I see Lynn and scurry over, but a jock blocks me. "Hey, hottie."
I slap him and meet up with Lynn, who is doubling over in laughter. "Th-th-that was soooo f-funny!!!"
I smirk. Suddenly, a girl zooms by and knocks my tote on the floor. "HEY!!!"
She is also one of the populars, yet she would be considered a 'bad girl.' She didn't join our group, hating us, and instead built a boy group. She has a whole army of jocks falling for her, and all of them only see how pretty she is on the outside, and not on the inside.
Anyways, there was a big event that led us from being best friends, to well....that. Vanessa has blue hair, wavy and long. She used to have blonde hair before she died it. She has a nose ring, a tattoo of a fox on her side (rumor has it) and always wears super short shorts that only cover half her butt, and crazy tops that leave little to imagination. It's against school rules, but who knows how she does it.
Five cheerleaders, 2 nerds, a hipster, and a drama kid come rushing to pick it up.
Caroline, cheer captain, says, "Omg, girl! Who was that?"
She was pretty popular and could order everyone around, easily too, since her blonde hair and emerald eyes seemed to put everyone in a trance.
"Vanessa..." I grind my teeth.
"What a JERK!" she says, flipping her hair. We weren't best friends, but she was nice.
She left soon after to join her friends, who were tumbling and jumping all over.
