Chapter 5:The first mission day...not good

The next day all gathered to decide what to do.
Then came Shadow...the other. (I will call him Shadow 2 from now)

The first to speak was Sonic. "So, Shadow 2, how can we get into your dimension?"
"The only things we need are four Super state users that combine their power during the chaos control, in order to open the gate."
Knuckles: Easy enough.
Tails: That means we need the chaos emeralds.
Sonic: That's not a problem.
Scarlette: But who will go?
Knuckles: I for sure.
Silver: I want to go too.
Redik: Calm down everyone, we'll decide who'll go when we'll have all the chaos emeralds.Until then all of us have to help finding them.
Shadow 2: I have one of my dimension, but I don't think it will work for the gate.
Scarlette: We can use it for chaos control, to help us with the search.
Shadow: Good idea.
Scarlette: Thank you.
Sonic: Well then, lets find those emeralds.
Everyone started to search, helped with Tails's tracker and the chaos control. In a few minutes all the chaos emeralds were gathered, and the members of the team who would be entering the portal were chosen.
Combining their power, Sonic, Silver, Shadow and Shadow 2 opened the portal.
The team, that consisted in Sonic, Shadow 2, Silver, Knuckles, Scarlette and Redik, entered in that gate.

When they came out, the show that comes to their eyes was desolating.
A land of death and destruction was standing in front of their eyes.
Dead bodies, robots that were searching for survivors, mobians turned into robots...
"This is...even worse than I imagined." A tear seemed to go down from Shadow 2's eyes,but he wiped it istantly.
"Eggman will not get away this time." Said Knuckles, grinding his teeth.
"Stay down."Whispered Scarlette "Those robots culd hear us..."
A metallic voice is heard behind them, where before there was the portal."It's a shame, but I've heard you."
All turned behind, and all exploded. All the guys flew in different directions, and all went black.

Sonic's POV
When I woke up, I couldn't see the others...
"Hey, guys?Where are you?"
I was in a cave,dark and wet...
"Ufff...And I was hoping to be able to wake up on a tropical island for a time."
I started to run trough the cave, but it was hard to see where to put the feet.
I fell a couple of times, but when my eyes got used to the darkness, it has been easier to run in that place.
I came out in a place full of lanterns, a very big cavern, that seemed to be a mine.

Silver's POV
"Ugh, my head...huh? Where am I?"
The place where I woke up was a desert, in the real meaning of the word.I saw something red come out from the sand, it seemed like a pair of legs...
I went to take a closer look and... those were Knuckles legs! I took him out of the sand, unconscious.
"Oh well...It's the case to start finding a way out of here...lets see..."

Shadow 2's POV
Someone woke me up. It was Scarlette.
Even if I'm not her Shadow...she's treating me like I was him...It doesn't matter.
"Where are we?"
"We are in some kind of garden...don't push yourself, you're still weak. It was a bad fall."
"And so?I can walk,and you too, so let's go." A few steps and I felt on the ground, feeling a huge pain to the left leg.
"Shadow! Are you ok? Let me help you." She tried to help me, but
"I don't need your help...ugh...maybe..." She helped me to walk, with a warm smile on the face."...Listen...thank you..."
"You're welcome" Now that I see her closer...she is very pretty...no, I have to focus.

Redik's POV
"Brrrr, I'm freezing here"
I was in a woods, but it was hailing, and it was cold,very very cold.
"I have to f-f-find the o-others, before I d-d-die here..."
