Her parents adopted her when she was 3 months old both of them are deaf. She has been learning sign language since. Her older sister has been teaching her signs that she doesn't want to know or treats her like a baby. Her older sister was the only kid that her parents could have. When her sister Holly was born the doctors told her mom and dad said that Holly was the only kid that her parents could have because when she was born there were complications. She has been mistaken for Mia Mitchell more than a couple of times.
