The bonds
It surely was wonderful to live within Qfeast! What lovely world that was to create and befriend and socialize! Days by days, the list of followers increased and the number of messages outnumbered. I was getting towards knowing Qfeast and I admired the ones on there since long. Ejtkl kept on talking to me until others as important came along. She definitely scored a special place in my heart until later initiating me to Facebook and to a whole new social world. But skipping that, I remember the day that very first encounter occurred…A message from someone who had been on Qfeast longer than I, famous and befriended almost everyone I already just met. From the username, I guessed it was a girl. I wouldn’t talk first, no! I was too ‘shy’ for that! But she did send me a message one day and we had a normal conversation ongoing: introductions, polite words, friendly attitude, lively selves, charming personalities getting along and details about one another. Gosh! The embarrassment when I guessed it was a girl while in fact, “she” was a “HE”….
I had made these wrong guesses too much already but that one about him being a girl was voiced out to him in the chat and he still teases me about it till now. We laughed and the ice between us broke since long ago. I was happy to talk to someone other than ejtkl who rarely got on with time. He was a lovely guy, sharing pictures through email for a first glance at each other and saying I am pretty when I am in fact so ordinary-looking. We became best friends. We really did talk to each other every day.
