Hollykit woke up with a jolt. A cat outside the nursery was yowling in pain. Then she realized it was a cat in the medicine cats den. There was a battle the day before and cats were still wounded. Then it hit her. She actually saw the nursery walls. She ran to her sister Jumpingkit. She saw that her sister had a pale kinda fur. Does mine look like that? She looked at her paw. It was completely black. She looked at her back. Her whole body was pure jet black. She prodded Jumpingkit awake. "What?" She snapped. "Oh, my, Starclan." She gasped. "I know!"Hollykit meowed "I can see too! Isn't it amazing?""Definitely." Jumpingkit replied.
"Let's go tell mom! Maybe she will let us out into the so we can play with Barkkit."
"Worth a try." Jumpingkit nodded.
They padded side by side to their mothers nest lined with feathers.
"Blackmoon!" Hollykit called her mother's name
"Yes?" She replied her right eye opening.
"We can see!" Jumpingkit puffed out her chest proudly.
Their mother purred, "That's great news! You both did?"
"Yep!" Hollykit replied
"Can me and Hollykit go out into camp?" Jumping foot asked
"Okay mom!"
