The walk of a lifetime
I was in my white dress. My maids walked me to the door. The doors opened with a creek. Twelve flutes started playing a soft slow melody. Their soft high pitched sounds were almost like loons on a lake. I felt the softness of the pure silk dress against my skin as I walked.I locked eyes on the man I would end up spending the rest of my life with as I entered the room. I do not want what happened to my father to happen to my husband.
As I stepped up to the altar, I was almost crying. I stared into his eyes and saw excitement and love in his eyes. The second he noticed that I was crying he automaticly understood why. He gave me the courage to go through with it.
“I have loved you since I first laid eyes on you. You are my love and will be forever my Daniee,” says my husband.
“I have loved you as well. My father said that you were just a boy that owned nothing. My father was wrong. Even if you were a simple farm boy, all that mattered was you loved me,” I said as I wiped away tears.
He grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes. We kissed as Linnet lit the candle. We walked down the aisle hand in hand.
He didn’t have his claw, so I turned into a dragon and he got on by back. We flew into the walls of his castle. The guards were on their toes and were pointing their spears at my large bronze head so I turned back into my proud royal self. Once the guards noticed that I was the princess of Camelot they withdrew their spears and bowed.
“What are you doing up so late?” he asked.
“Well I am wondering the same thing.” I exclaimed. “let us both say our reasoning at the same time. 1... 2... 3…”
“Going to see you.” We both said at the same time.
“Come my darling you will come to my quarters tonight.” he said kindly.
“As you wish.” I joked.
We climbed into bed and snuggled in together. We would not expect what came the following day.
