Chapter 1.

Chapter 1

I sat at the computer, mashing buttons on the keyboard and firing shots at enemies. "Come on, almost there..." I mumbled under my breath as I shot down the last two aliens. "YES!" I cheered as the game updated to put the new high score. Stretching, I leaned back in my chair and gazed out the window. It was not too cloudy, but it sure was pretty darn cold for early spring. Turning back to the computer, I noticed the screen went all crazy. Little green error messages kept popping up and the screen looked more as if the internet was having a seizure.
"The hell... What's all this?" I tried turning off the computer but... It wouldn't. Getting annoyed, I yelled at it. "Fine, be that way! Stupid computer..." Grumbling, I pushed the chair away from the computer screen and scooted in the chair to the TV. I had just bought a copy of majora's mask on eBay, along with the Nintendo 64. I popped the game in and it booted up quite smoothly. "Alright, so far so good."

I played for about an hour. I beat the first temple no problem. Checking the time, I saved the game and put the controller down and reached to turn off the N46. Once again, like with the computer, it refused to turn off. "What is with the electronics today?" I questioned, messing with the games system a little before just deciding to unplug it. As I reached for the plug, I noticed text appear on the screen.

ʏᴏᴜ ᴍᴇᴛ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ ғᴀᴛᴇ, ʜᴀᴠᴇɴ'ᴛ ʏᴏᴜ.

I blink in confusion for a bit. I recognized the text box since it's what the Mask sales guy tells you in the beginning of the game. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I unplug the system and the screen turns blue to show it was no longer connected to the game. Walking back to the computer, I noticed cleverbot had opened up in a new window. At this point I was worried that someone had hacked my computer or something because I never use cleverbot. I read the text on the screen and felt a sense of unease.

ʏᴏᴜ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅɴ'ᴛ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴅᴏɴᴇ ᴛʜᴀᴛ.

Leaning back in my chair, I stare at the computer screen. The feeling of being watched beamed strongly. I brushed it off, claiming it that I had just been up for too long. It was 3 in the morning after all. I reread the words on the screen, wondering why cleverbot had answered with that sentence.
"Shouldn't have done what?" I asked allowed. Cleverbot had responded as if I had typed in the question.

ᴛᴜʀɴᴇᴅ ᴏғғ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴀᴍᴇ.

'Ok this is just too weird.' I thought. Too tired to really care anymore, I got up and trotted to my bed. Flopping down onto the covers, I let sleep take over.

(???'s POV)
I watched (Y/n) fall asleep. I can't believe she ignored me! Usually my victims would be paranoid by now, yet this girl just doesn't care! But no worries. I returned back to my room and began making plans to mess with (Y/n). She would learn to be afraid. Even if I had to show up in front of her to do so.

A/N: Finally got this back up again. So glad I managed to save the old files before my old phone crashed. Hope you enjoyed!
