Chapter 2.
"Look behind you."

"Look behind you."

"Who are you?" 5 year old Ashley Smith said to the empty air. She nodded, and said: "Yes. I know. I'm Ashley. What's your name?" She asked again to nobody. She nodded again.

"I like that name. Lucy. Pretty name." Her mom peeked in through the door. "Who are you talking to, sweetie?" She asked, brushing her hair out of her face. "I'm talking to my friend. Her name is Lucy. She's pretty. She has long blonde hair, just like me! She's cold, mommy. Can you get her a blanket?" She asked.

Her mom went pale. "Sure. W-whatever she w-w-wants." She hurried out of the room, and Ashley continued her conversation. In the meantime, Ashley's mom was calling a therapist. "Yes. Yes, I understand. Yes, I know she's dead. No, I don't want those, I just need help. Yes, I'll be right over."

hung up. She hurried up the stairs, where her daughter was still talking. "Darling let's go." She said grabbing her hand. Ashley spun around. "No." She said. "What?" He mom asked. "I said f**king NO! NOW SHUT UP YOU F**KING BITCH!" She screamed. Then, the lights flickered, and Ashley dropped. She sat up, rubbing her head. She looked in the corner, and her mom followed her gaze. In the corner was a little girl, who was shivering. She smiled, then said: "I'm cold." The two girls screamed.

Later, the dad entered the room to see them dead on the floor. On the wall was the words: LOOK BEHIND YOU! Of course, he looked behind him. He dropped dead next to his wife and daughter. Investigators found the three in the room, and didn't know what to do. All three had apparently died of hypothermia. All the evidence there was, was a little blanket, with the words: "I'M COLD" stitched into it.
