Forest's living nightmare

Forest finds the nightmare rock

Forest was wandering along the forest looking to find new things just five minutes away from Pup Stars. He stumbles on a purple rock with flower markers all over it.

"I will give this to Athena as a present!" Forest said grabbing it by his mouth.

Just then a monkey popped up out of the bushes, he looked old and skinny.

"Beware of the nightmare rock!" He said. "that is the nightmare rock, drop it and be on your way!"

"No way!" Forest replied. "I'm giving this to my mate, Athena. Go back in the trees and eat bananas or something!"

"Beware of the nightmare rock!" The old monkey said again. "you can have it, just be careful!"

"It's a rock!" Forest said. "what is it going to do? Stone me to death?"

"Beware!!!!" The monkey said. "bad things will happen tomorrow."

The monkey waved then disappeared.

"Weirdo." Forest said, shaking his head. "what can go wrong?"

When Forest went through the doggy door at Pup Stars, he was looking everywhere for Athena. Just then he ran into Crystal Drowned and Webkinz.

"Where is Athena?" Forest asked.

"She is out playing with Holly." Webkinz replied. "she will be back soon, now me and Crystal Drowned have to give away food at the teen rescue mission. Bluethequizwhiz and RockLee is helping out at a pet shelter, you okay by yourself?"

"I guess." Forest replied. "why is everyone so busy?"

"We just have some business to take care of." Webkinz replied.

Bluethequizwhiz and RockLee will be back in five minutes." Crystal Drowned said. "we have to hurry, we won't be long."

As soon as they left, Forest went into his room then laid out on his bed.

"Some weird monkey." He said. "nothing will happen."

Forest dropped the rock next to his bed and tried to fall asleep, even though it's still day outside.

"I can't sleep." Forest said getting out of his bed. "the only way to get tired is to tire myself out."

Forest ran around Pup Stars about twenty times outside, finally he got tired enough to stop.

"That's more like it!" He said out of breath. "now time to sleep."

When Forest went in to check what time it is he forgot something.

"Oh right." He said. "I can't tell time."

Just then Bluethequizwhiz and RockLee opened the door.

"Yall came back!" Forest said yipping.

"Of course." Bluethequizwhiz said.  "now imma be in my room for a very long time, I'm so tired."

"Same." RockLee said. "I'm actually going to sleep, even though it will be dark in two hours I want to get a head start."

When RockLee and Bluethequizwhiz went up to their rooms, Forest went to his room to pick up the rock. He picked up his bed then slid the rock under the bed.

"Just to be safe." Forest said yawning.

After the two hours passed everybody was back and in their own beds sleeping. Forest went to Athena's room to check on her, she was curled up with her favorite stuffed animal. Forest smiled then closed her door gently, when Forest got in his bed he tried to ignore the monkey's words. But little did Forest know that tomorrow was about to get bad, just like the monkey said.
