Ocean Blue

A tail

I woke up on the beach. My eyes flickered open to see my brother. I'd recognise that long blond surfer hair cut with beads anywhere. He poked me with a stick.
"Hey sis! Was there a party last night, I found cake!" He grinned. I snapped the stick and punched him the gut.
"Tell me what age am I?" I spat at him. His face went pale.
"I'm 15 now, well there's always next year!" I said sarcastically and stormed off. I ran into the house feeling the best I had in years. I tossed on my deep blue very unrevealing bikini and sprinted to the rock cove. That's when it hit me.
"what the heck happened last night?" I asked myself. I sat on a rock and dipped my legs into a rock pool. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Suddenly a ripping pain tore through my legs. I let out a gasp and a yelp before my eyes flashed open. I had to bite my lip to stop myself from screaming. Where was once my short legs was now a pale blue and pale green slick tail. I quickly grabbed my phone from my jacket pocket and with shaking hands dial Leo's number. He answered with a groggy husky voice.
"This is Leo....." He answered.
" Oh my god Leo I don't know what happened!" I cried into the phone. Tear started streaming down my cheeks. What happened to me? What cant I remember?
"Marley, calm down! Are you ok?" He asked seriously. I didn't know where to begin.
"I went to the beach last night and I cant remember what happened! Something freaky has happened!" I blabbered, my nerves on edge.
"ok where are you?" He asked.
"The small cove past the bay and hurry quick!" I hung up.
